| Remarks: | Brandy is a gorgeous palomino out of one of my favorite buckskin mares, Patty Jewel. Brandy is definitely show quality with her long neck, gorgeous head and look at me attitude. However, we never got an opportunity to show her, as we have taken time off from showing now that our daughters went off to college and to their own careers. I would love to keep her for my breeding program .....and she is definitely one for the dilute breeding program, but I have to sell some of them! She is super sweet and friendly and always stops to be petted on her way out to pasture each morning! She would be great around children or make a wonderful companion horse for a retired person. I have bred her just once and she produced a gorgeous palomino leopard colt, Gold Dust, out of our black leopard stallion, Wolf. The colt was exactly what I was hoping for, so I was very pleased with the results. She had no problems foaling and was an excellent mother, so she is a proven broodmare now. So if you want to breed for palominos, buckskins, perlinos, or cremellos, then Brandy will be a great addition to your breeding program. Get her now before I change my mind. |
