RARE
MEDICINE HAT SABINO TOVERO PINTO STALLION
We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity
to own this truly special, and very rare Medicine Hat Stallion. He
is a solid white pinto, except for a bay medicine hat over one eye and
a bay saddle patch on his back. He has BLUE eyes, a black forelock,
and a white mane & tail. Medicine Man's dam, Hobby
Horses Chiefs Lady, is one of our best producing broodmares.
She is a bay and white, 34" Moroccan Sabino Tovero Pinto, who produces
loud colored pinto foals. Lady is mostly white also. She has
a solid bay head with a white muzzle, a bay saddle patch, and a bay patch
of color on her left flank. We were so pleased with Lady's foals,
that we purchased 3 other foals out of her--(a 3 year old, 30 1/2" loud
sorrel pinto mare with a ink spots & BLUE eyes; a 29" yearling red
roan filly, and a 28" loud chestnut & white pinto colt with ink spots
& BLUE eyes....all 3 with gorgeous dished Arabian style heads).
Lady's pedigree includes Poco Horses Chief (30 1/2"), Poco Horses Snowflake
(solid white), and Hobby Horses Magic Lady. Medicine Man's sire,
Diamond D's Toddy Boy (30 3/4"), is a bay pinto also --who is also
mostly white with a solid head, wide blaze, and a saddle patch. With
all this loud pinto coloring in his background, Medicine Man is proving
himself to be an even better color producer than his dam. We are very fortunate
to have own this rare jewel of a horse. Lad is proving him self to
be an outstanding sire of future generations of miniatures. He has
a wonderful, gentle nature, which he passes along to his offspring.
He stands 32 1/2" tall. Lad's foals are truly awesome,
with refinement, excellent conformation and exceptional natural motion.
Lad is the sire of PtHA 2003 World Champion B Division Tobiano/Overo Color
Mare .......Mini-Go-Round's Lollapalooza. Lollapalooza
is also the 2003 PtHA Reserve High Point B Division Miniature and an AMHR
Multiple National Top Ten Champion 2001, 2002, and 2003. Lad is featured
in Pat Elder's "Top Outstanding Miniature Stallions" Book & his dam
