Meritaten
is named after an Egyptian Princess, a daughter of the famous Egyptian
Queen Nefertiti and the Pharaoh Akhenaten. She does indeed have royal breeding
being out of our senior leopard herdsire, Spotted Blue Wolf and our 2003
AMHR National Champion Futurity 3 Year Old Roadster Mare, Leopard Princess,
so it is only fitting she, too, should have the name of a Princess!
