| We were very fortunate to be able to add Spirit and her Van Lo's Overo bloodlines to our breeding program. I have not had her tested, but I suspect she carries frame, sabino and splashed white overo pinto patterns. She has foaled some very nice foals for us over the years. Some of her foals are - Mini-Go-Round's Faithful Spirit (a grulla-black with dun gene, bald face, and blue eyes. At birth Faith had the dorsal stripe with cross bsrs visible on her back), Mini-Go-Round's Prince Charming (a grulla/black with dun colt with big blaze and stockings by Cheyenne Chief), Mini-Go-Round's Divine Design (Diva, also by Chief) (a pretty dun filly with dorsal stripe-Exported to Ecuador, SA in 2014), and Mini-Go-Round's Joker's Wild Card (a loud colored silver bay pinto colt by Joker). We are taking some time off from breeding for a few years, so we are offering Spirit for sale at the present time, so she can continue to produce for someone else. |
