Great
White Feather was born early one June morning in 2006 as I was just beginning
my morning feeding chores. After his birth, I started to exit the
barn to let the mares out to pasture and there was a beautiful white whispy
feather lying right in my path. I knew instantly that he would be
a special stallion and that his name would be White Feather!!
Great White Feather is sired by our multi
times PtHA World Champion and multi times AMHR National Champion Stallion,
CSF Mark Chestnut. His dam, Foxfire's June Bug II is a National Top 5 Show
Mare. Both is sire and dam are featured in Pat Elder's 'Oustanding Miniature
Stallions' & 'Outstanding Miniature Mares' books. I love the results
of this cross so much that I keep repeating it. Feather has several full
sisters and brothers including - Mini-Go-Round's
Blue Eyed Angel, Mini-Go-Round's Joker's Firefly,
Mini-Go-Round's Scarlet O'Vero, Mini-Go-Round's
Silver Bullet, and Mini-Go-Round's Cotton Eyed Joe-
all beautiful offspring! Feather will be an excellent producer of correct,
colorful pinto foals! I suspect he carries tobiano as well as splash white
and/or sabino overo patterns. I would love to keep him for myself, but
want to share these fine bloodlines with others, so he is currently being
offered for your consideration! |
