Buttons was one of our first appaloosa mares. She was shown
on a very limited basis and did quite well in the show ring. In
limited showing, Buttons
has accumulated titles in both halter & color
classes, both as a Junior mare and as a Senior mare. Some of her titles
include Championships & Reserve Championships in Multi-color Mare,
& Reserve Championships in Senior Mare & Junior Mare. She
is currently making beautiful babies for us. Her foal in 1999, Mini-Go-Round's
Chiantis Night Hawk was a Bay fewspot appaloosa by a Leopard stallion.
In 2001 she had a LOUD chestnut & white pintaloosa with 1 blue eye,
Moonlight Warrior, by our blue-eyed chestnut Tovero pinto stallion,
FWF Painted Warrior. She had a gorgeous buckskin dun filly with
primitive zebra markings out of our black blanketed spots stallion, Raindancer,
but it was born early and we lost it. She has been bred to our black
leopard stallion, RCF Dierckman's Spotted Blue Wolf,
three different times and has had 2 show quality bay appaloosa fillies
out of him, Mini-Go-Round's Wolf's Lil Moonbeam
Moonlight Serenade and a loud black near leopard colt, Mini-Go-Round's
Spotted Eagle. Serenade also has the neat primitive zebra striping
on her legs and a black dorsal stripe. Then in 2008 Buttons had a
silver bay varnish roan appaloosa filly, Mini-Go-Round's Gypsy Rose, out
of our fewspot stallion,
Mini-Go-Round's Peter Cried
Wolf. Gypsy is starting to color up and we will be clipping her out
this spring in hopes of finding some spots under the winter fuzz.
For 2009 Buttons is bred to our new leopard stud, Blizzard.
Her pedigree goes back to HNFS Chief Whitenose and Chianti.
